Hi everybody, I just picked up an HP ProBook 4540s at a great price. Everything works great with it except the HD camera in FaceTime. I can use the camera in other applications like Skype and Photo Booth (provided that I open Photo Booth first.... strange). But everytime that I try to open FaceTime, the camera instantly freezes. Unfortunately, I have received one of the Hp ProBooks that do not have a serial number under USB in About This Mac-System Information. No known fixes for use of camera. But my question is: Is it possible for me to get and swap in a model camera type from the HP ProBooks that DO work?

Hey, Just wondering anyone having any issues with installing Yosemite on a HP Probook 4540s? It said it was meant to be straight forward and easy?? I have replaced the wifi card with AR5BHB92 and followed the instructions word for word on the Tonymac86x website. It works up until I have to press F4 at the boot screen to boot from my partition on my bootable USB drive and thats where it stops. Pressing F4 does absolutely nothing. It only gives me the option in clover to boot from Base System OS X.
Anyone have any ideas?
