Epson Tm-u220 Driver For Windows 7 64bit

I am trying to install an Epson TM-U220 using a usb-to serial adapter on Windows 7 64-bit. I have tried several different driver combinations to include: the 'manual' installation using .INF and .DLL driver files, a generic text only printer driver, and the Advanced Printer Driver (APD_450EWM). On some machines, the text only driver does the trick and that is fine, but on others the print comes out garbled. I feel that in these cases, I could be using the Epson-provided APD. The thing that I believe is causing my problem while using the APD is the use of the Trendnet TU-S9 Serial adapter coupled with the Epson Port Driver (they each have configurable COM port settings.)

What may be happen is that when you install the apd driver the other printer drivers that you have were still using the same port that your apd driver were using. Example, you.

How should I configure these devices to get this all to work?

Hi Mike,

·Do you get any error message?

Follow these methods.

Method 1: Disable the security software temporarily.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.
