Parallel Printer Port Pci Driver For Windows Xp Sp3

PciFor

After Windows 7 installed the drivers for this device, I then unplugged it, and plugged the printer back into the PCI parallel port. I changed the printer that I installed (On the USB001 device) to the LPT3 device, and bingo. I have tried a parallel/usb cable but the printer will not work after I have installed the current Windows XP-compatible printer driver. Parallel-pport PCI cards seem to be about $40, which is about the top end of the range for the converter cables.

The following information is to be used to download and install the new driver for the HP parallel port CD-Writers in the Windows XP operating system.

Before beginning

Print this document for reference before starting the download and install because the process will require rebooting the system to install the hardware and to complete the driver installation.
